What does grit mean to you?
In this episode, I’m talking about how to be grittier and push through the hard times or the times when things just plateau.
Stress and boredom are the two biggest threats to our motivation, so how do you keep your momentum up when those things start to creep in? That’s where grit comes in.
I believe that motivation has three parts: drive, grit, and goals. We’ll touch a little on each one and why this topic is so important.
The important thing to remember is this: if you have enough grit to push through your hard times, you’re going to come out on top.
In Today’s Episode We Discuss:
- What drive is and how it relates to grit
- How to overcome a plateau
- The definition of grit
- Why grit is important
- The role of willpower
- Why talent is not innate
- The danger of a fixed mindset
- The value of curiosity
- Positive thinking and positive self-talk
Where in your life and business do you need to get grittier? Where can you choose some hard things to push through? How can you change your definition of what’s hard? These are some questions I want you to ponder after listening to this episode.
I hope this helps you to get grittier and equips you to push through the hard times.
